Hanyang University established the Global Social Innovation Division in 2023 as a presidential institution led by Professor Hyun Shin from the College of Business Administration.

The Global Social Innovation Division is an organization established to realize Hanyang University's founding philosophy of 'Love in Deed and Truth' at the university level.

It comprises four sub-organizations: the Global Social Innovation Team (Seoul/ERICA), SSIR Korea Center, and Collective Impact Center.

The Global Social Innovation Division, along with the Social Service Corps established in 1994, plays a pivotal role in Hanyang University's HUGE Initiative.

HUGE stands for Hanyang University for Global Engagement, representing Hanyang's global vision to create a better world under the spirit of 'Love in Deed and Truth.'
