The **[Youth Change Makers]** team aims to foster a deeper understanding of the SDGs among youth and cultivate their change-making skills, empowering them to grow into social innovators.

Applying the problem-solving model from the IC-PBL MECA framework, the team encourages youth to independently identify problems and work with mentors to find solutions.
A total of 81 university student mentors and 333 mentees have participated in the program.

1. KIDARI Bank
The only campus-based student "self-help financial cooperative" in the country, aimed at addressing the economic difficulties of Hanyang University members and contributing to community service activities.
Based on membership fees and capital contributions, the cooperative operates financial products such as the Short Leg Fund and Fast Fund. In 2024, it is collaborating with external organizations, including the Seoul Donghaeng Volunteer Planning Group, North Seoul Credit Union, and the Social Cooperative Sip-Si-Il-Bang, to carry out various community service activities.
2. Hangaji
One team began its activities in 2019 as the social innovation club "HanyangSEN" and has since developed the "HanGajiHam" project, which involves repurposing and donating useful items discarded in dormitories. Since 2020, the team has been actively participating as part of the Hope Grand University Leader Group.
Through the "HanGajiHam" project, approximately 300 pieces of clothing are collected each semester. The collected items are sorted by the team members and donated to the Beautiful Store. This initiative has the same environmental impact as planting around 432 pine trees, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 1,199 kg.
In addition, since 2022, the team has been actively participating as part of the "Milal Tiwom Volunteer Group" of the Milal Welfare Foundation. They have been actively involved in initiatives such as the "Lighting Children" campaign, which provides solar-powered lanterns to countries facing energy shortages, as well as campaigns to create Braille books.
In 2024, the team was recognized for its ongoing activities and received the Excellence in Volunteering Award at the "Seongdong Volunteer Day" ceremony, presented by the Mayor of Seongdong District.
3. Dream Dream
Dream Dream is a team dedicated to improving awareness of volunteerism and enhancing accessibility, with the goal of enabling university students to grow into active volunteers by planning and organizing various volunteer activities.
Through regular leisure-based volunteer activities, such as accessory making, Dream Dream sells the completed items at flea markets and donates goods worth approximately 500,000 KRW each semester to child protection facilities in Seongdong-gu. The team also engages in various activities, including child mentoring services, caring for abandoned pets, and beach cleaning at Eulwangri, striving to provide more students with the rewarding experience of volunteering.
In 2024, Dream Dream was recognized for its ongoing activities and received the Excellence in Volunteering Award at the "Seongdong Volunteer Day" ceremony, presented by the Mayor of Seongdong District.
4. Socion
Socion (formerly LAICOS) is a team composed of members who aim to develop as innovators by studying the model of social enterprises and planning practical projects based on an understanding of the "social economy."
Currently, within Socion, there are two sub-task teams focused on ESG and barrier-free initiatives. Each team is carrying out the following detailed activities:
① ESG
– Upcycle Banner Project: Collecting used banners on campus and repurposing them into pouches.
– Coffee Grounds Project: Collecting coffee grounds from campus cafes, transforming them into planters, and distributing them to students.
The pouches made through the Upcycle Banner Project are provided along with seeds, contributing to environmental conservation and waste reduction.
② Barrier-Free
– Distribution of Wangsimni Barrier-Free Map:
Conducting a survey of the university's rear gate shopping district to provide information about businesses that are wheelchair accessible.
– Installation of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) Zones: Creating communication boards with pictorial symbols at Hanyang University and throughout Seongdong-gu, allowing individuals to communicate by pointing to specific symbols on the board.

5. Eching
ECO + echo + ing is a team dedicated to addressing environmental issues and the climate crisis, with the aim of amplifying awareness on these critical matters. The team regularly holds internal seminars on environmental topics and acquires knowledge and social trends through the analysis of corporate ESG reports.
Additionally, the team actively practices environmental protection through plogging activities in areas such as Seouls Forest and along the Han River. They also run campaigns on proper waste separation, raising awareness about the importance of knowledge dissemination and resource recycling.
6. SDGs Ambassador
The team studies examples of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and documents and promotes the practical examples of Hanyang University as well as domestic institutions and companies.
7. Hult Prize HYU
The OnCampus Program at Hanyang University identifies and supports university student teams that aim to solve social issues through business, in order to participate in the global "Hult Prize" competition. The Hult Prize Operations Team at Hanyang University, established for the first time in 2024, plans the entire OnCampus Program, supports the teams selected as university representatives, and assists them in advancing to the international competition.

The Hult Prize, organized by the UN and the Hult International Business School, is a global entrepreneurship competition aimed at discovering student teams who wish to have a positive impact on the lives of millions and support the growth of young people. The competition involves over 150 universities worldwide, and the final team that wins at the UN FINAL will receive 1.2 billion KRW in seed funding.
