SDG 17. PARTNERSHIP
Partnership
Practicing Global Love with Hanyang
SDG 17 'Partnership for the Goals' is the foundation needed to solve social problems.
Through collaboration with Seongsu Valley, a cluster of over 200 social innovation companies,
and by joining Ashoka U in April 2018 and the Asia Venture Philanthropy Network in June 2018,
Hanyang has established a social innovation network extending from Seongdong to Asia Pacific and globally.
Through the HUGE Initiative, we aim to create partnerships that add value to the world.
"Partnerships for the Goals"
The world is becoming increasingly complex, and various social problems are only becoming more difficult to solve.
Through collaboration across various fields in these circumstances, we can properly examine the problems and challenge ourselves to find true solutions.
SDG 17 Partnership is the foundation needed in the process of achieving other SDG goals, and this is why partnership is emphasized.

"University Impact Rankings - Essential Evaluation Criteria"
THE (Times Higher Education), a global university evaluation institution, assesses universities' SDGs contributions through 'Impact Rankings,' while QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) evaluates through 'QS Sustainability Rankings.'
THE first introduced SDG-related activities and achievements into its world university rankings in 2019.
THE ranks universities that have submitted achievements in at least 4 categories, including SDG 17, in their Impact Rankings.
The importance of SDG 17 (Partnership) can be seen in the fact that it is the only mandatory submission category.
