2022년 가계소득 하위 20% 학생이 교육을 완료할 수 있도록 하는 지원 프로그램 (Bottom financial quintile student support - 2022)

한양대학교는 기초생활수급자 또는 차상위계층 학생들에게 사랑의 실천 장학금을 지급하는 프로그램을 통해

저소득층으로 입학한 학생들이 모두 교육을 완료할 수 있도록 지원하고 있습니다.

 기초생활수급자는 통상 생계급여 기준 중위소득 30%, 의료급여 기준 중위소득 40% 의 계층을 의미하며

차상위계층은 대한민국 내에서 소득인정액이 기준 중위소득의 50% 이하인 인구를 의미합니다.

즉, 기초생활수급자는 하위 15% 정도, 차상위계층은 하위 25% 정도의 인구를 의미합니다.

Hanyang University supports students from low-income families through a scholarship program called "Love in Action,"

which provides financial assistance to basic livelihood support recipients and students from the lower tier of income levels,

ensuring that all students from disadvantaged backgrounds can complete their education.

Basic livelihood support recipients refer to the population that falls within the 30% median income criteria for general livelihood assistance and

the 40% median income criteria for medical assistance.

The lower tier of income levels represents the population in South Korea with an income below 50% of the median income.

In other words, basic livelihood support recipients account for approximately the bottom 15%,

and the lower tier of income levels represents about the bottom 25% of the population.
